THE NORFOLK JACKET WAIST FITTING HAS 2" COMFORT AS STANDARD COMPARED TO THE MORE FITTED HACKING JACKET ALL OTHER MEASUREMENTS ARE THE SAME AS THE HACKING JACKET- THIS IS TO ALLOW FOR THE BELT TO PULL THE WAIST IN IF REQUIRED - IF YOU WANT TO USE THE FULL NORFOLK AS AN OVERCOAT OR WISH TO WEAR A JUMPER UNDERNEATH, PLEASE CHOSE A SIZE LARGER

Our Hacking Jacket and Shooting Jacket Patterns differ slightly in sizing, the Shooting Jacket is about and inch bigger in the body, and half inch across the shoulders and lengths. The Full Norfolk jacket is the same as the Hacking Jacket except 2" comfort waist is inluded as standard to allow for the belt to gather in the jacket slightly, if you wish to wear the Norfolk Jacket as a coat with thick jumper or vest then please go up one size to accommodate..

WAIST Our hacking jacket is more fitted than most off the peg sports jackets / sport coats. Simply check your waist measurement or measure across the waist of a jacket that fits you to check your fitting. We can add more room to the waist. On the site there is an option to add 1", 2" or 3" (circumference) comfort waist. If you require more room in the waist then there is an option to choose this from the Bespoke Sizing Options at an additional charge of £30.

SHOULDER On our Hacking Jacket our shoulder seam to seam measurement is narrower than most sports jackets / sports coats of the same size. This is to give a neater look to the shoulder area. However, there is plenty of room across the shoulder blades for comfort and movement..

The measurements on the grids are for regular length jackets with standard waist. You can choose Regular, Extra Short, Short, Long or Extra Long sleeve and back lengths from the drop down menu on our order page, there is also an option for special 1/2 inch length as emailed. Place your order, then email us with your lengths and we will amend the order and resend it to you to confirm your order.

We are able to send out jackets and trousers for sizing purposes. We ask that you pay for the garment value and postage. The amount will be deducted from your order or refunded on return to us. Please enquire to check that your size is available.

Some additonal Bespoke/Sizing Options are available on the order form for the Hacking Jacket such as narrowing of Lapel, Sleeve, Shoulder. Please note as above that although our shoulder seam to seam measurement is generally narrower than most off the peg jackets but this does not mean that you should automatically order wider shoulders as there is plenty of room across the shoulder blades of our pattern..
